The Kitty at the F1

My initial design for the Kitty was for a day bag to carry round the F1 this year at Silverstone. I wanted it to be able to get through the bag limitations, so less than 20L and also be able to carry my essentials whatever the weather.

The weather was hot, damn hot, so no need to carry any rain gear but it was loaded up with water and sun cream. The latest prototype was a full clamshell version of the Kitty which is a design for a clients custom build and includes a top quick access pocket for a glasses case.

Friends also took F1 themed bags, supporting McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari (mine). Not that I was really supporting Ferrari but didn’t want another orange one. Apart from one issue with webbing, which is corrected on current bags anyway, all went well and they held up better than expected.

With the straps and back design extremely comfy over a long day walking the track.
